GLOBE COVERAGE What percentage of the overall globe is generated. RANDOMIZE SEED Randomly picks a new seed. The locations of human-built features such as roads and NPC faction towns may persist on multiple uses of the same seed, or they may vary somewhat from one use to the next.
A given seed always produces the same geographical features such as land masses, rivers and mountains. SEED A random seed is provided, but you may enter your own. The world generation screen appears during the creation of a new colony. An ancient society is then shallowly simulated to generate ancient roads, and modern settlements and roads are generated (often alongside ancient roads). When generating the world, the land masses form first, followed by rivers. When reloading the world after opening the colony, the game shows a loading screen. The seasonal differences are also less pronounced near the equator, with there being a permanent summer in it. Temperatures in regards to proximity from the equator are also correct with hotter biomes being more central and colder biomes being closer to the poles. Time zones are also modelled as the world actually physically exists and is fully interactive. There are sliders for overall planet temperature and overall rainfall, with the result of changing them being true to what would happen in real life.

For example, some biomes feature a large amount of mountains, while others are full of grasslands. Each world is uniquely filled with multiple biomes that change what the world looks like and how it behaves. The last part of a submission are latitude and longitude numbers, following the standard 86.93E, 58.67N denomination.Worlds in RimWorld are generated from either random or user-provided seeds that allow for a completely new experience every time. The seed name can be any string of characters, but they're usually words. Both run from 1 to 7, with 4 being the default. If you've changed it from the default, please add 'Overall Rainfall' and 'Overall Temperature'. Globe coverage can be 5% (dev mode only), 30%, 50%, or 100%. The numbers in brackets refer to the globe coverage and map size. Tags such as and refer to the growing period Year Round Growing and 1st of spring to 11th of fall respectively. The first tag tells something about the characteristics of the map, such as 'easy to defend' or 'loads of caves' using, , or anything you may wish to add.

There are so many posts that are simply undiscovered mountains that greatly reduce the area. I make this post because there is a lack of knowledge here. (also, I have no idea if this is dictated by seed or not, but nearby settlements would be nice, too) Just figured I'd ask while I mindlessly try and find one myself and try not to get bored out of my mind. I get that this is a bit of a hyperspecific request, so I'm not all that fussed if it goes unanswered. Rivers/large ponds/coastal stuff are all good things, but marshes are a 'please Randy, no'.

Plus I'm never going to clear out all of those trees. I still want the majority of my map to be available - typically a lot of the time I rely on hunting, and I can't do that if animals can't enter the map, either. I'm looking for more of a 'horseshoe' shape if that makes sense? Basically hoping for three 'natural' walls that I can use to start from, and make up the remainder of the walls from there - though if there's only 2.5 walls, that's good, too. My goal here isn't to make a base inside of the mountain - though some of it will be, naturally. As titled, I'm looking for a seed with mountains or large hills, with a large amount of outdoor space.
